Peaks touching the sky in the monsoons. Waterfalls flow all over the mountains and race down to touch the valley. Misty blanket of clouds surrounds everything and pearls of dew settled here and there. Surrounded by deep valleys on one side and high hills on the other, blessed with nature’s bliss and the lush green valley’s we are talking about Lonavla.


Surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges and naturally adorned with waterfalls and streams. Lonavla acts as a magnet for the romantics and the relationships which need to get away from the daily hustle and bustle once in a while.



Elevation of more than 2000 feet above sea-level, Lonavala offers beautiful natural landscapes and serene to its visitors. The name 'Lonavala' is derived from a Sanskrit word, 'Lonavli', which literally translates as 'caves'. It was discovered by the Governor of Bombay Presidency during the colonial era, Lord Elphinstone.
