Nagarjuna Sagar

Nagarjuna sagar Dam is located between Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh and Nalgonda district of Telangana, India. Dam was constructed between 1955 to 1967 on beautiful Krishna river and it is one of the world’s largest dam.
Attractions and things to do in Nagarjuna sagar are Nagarjuna sagar Dam, Nagarjunakonda Museum, Ethipothala Waterfall, Nagarjuna sagar wildlife Sanctuary.
1.Nagarjuna Sagar Dam




Nagarjuna Sagar Dam was constructed in 1955. It is one of biggest dams in India. They used to allow for people to walk and light motor vehicles to go on top of dam. Recently because of security reasons entire dam access is restricted. we can see the dam from the bridge and other side. 

2.Nagarjuna Konda




Nagarjuna konda is an Island in the river Krishna is a wonderful tourist destination to visit. This place has Buddhist stupas, Museum, stone images of Buddha, panels carved with Jataka tales and old inscriptions. More info...
3. Ethipothala Waterfalls



Ethipothala waterfalls superb place to see water fall from height of 21.3 m. This place has crocodile-breeding and it is prime attraction Sagar area.
