Lake District

Location: Lake District National Park, United Kingdom
The Lake District, is a mountainous region in North West England. Most of the land lies within the National Park is higher than 3,000 feet (910 m) above sea level including Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England.
Approximately 2,362 square kilometers, in the lake district region was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017.

Lake district as name says is the home of many lakes in England. Only one body of water, Bassenthwaite Lake, is traditionally named a lake. Larger bodies of water in the Lake District are generally named as mere or water, whilst smaller ones are denoted by tarn.

I have visited Lake district many times, Windermere and Scafell pike are my favorites. I enjoy view of many hills packed together in lake district that form nice valleys and lakes. Here are some of the photos from my trip 1.
